What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. The word Reiki is actually from two Japanese words Rei which means “God’s wisdom or higher power” and ki meaning “life force energy” In other words, Reiki is a “spiritually guided life force energy”. Reiki is a spiritual practice in nature but is not considered a religion.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. Practitioners are given the “life force energy” through an attunement by the Reiki master. It has been effective in helping every known illness and complements all other medical or therapeutic techniques without unwanted side effects.
How long is a reiki session?
Typical sessions are 60 minutes. 90 minutes sessions are available depending on the clients needs.
Do I need to wear anything special?
Nope! I do recommend something nice and comfy so you are relaxed. If you are getting a PEMF MediCrystal bio mat upgrade, you want to make sure that you are in something loose fitting.
Do you touch me?
Typically my hands will be a few inches above your body in various locations without any direct contact. I do like to do some light touching at your head and feet. If you are comfortable and with your permission, there may be other locations with light touch as well.
Do I need more than one session?
One session is always recommended to start. It’s a great gauge to see how you respond to the energy work. Very often, people purchase packages to continue their healing and wellness goals.
What if I have a chronic condition?
Reiki can complement your overall wellness and health but you should always seek a licensed medical professional if you have a chronic or acute condition.
Do I have to talk during the session?
Typically the session consists of ambient music and often essential oils with no talking. If you feel uncomfortable or have questions during the treatment, you are always welcome to communicate with me. If I come to a location that I have questions about during treatment, I may ask a few questions however this is meant to be a relaxing and releasing experience.
Will I feel it?
Where my hand placements are you may feel tingling, heat, energy or nothing at all. You do not need to “feel” anything in order for the treatment to be effective. Some people are sensitive to the energy and others may not feel the effect immediately.
Do I have to come to you?
I do offer distance Reiki healing. The beautiful thing about energy is that it transfers very easy. I do recommend that you are somewhere that you can lay comfortably and uninterrupted.
What happens when the session is over?
I suggest lots of water to help move the energy that is flowing freely. I always recommend light and healthy food after treatment and throughout the day. If you can spend some time in the evening after treatment to reflect and journal any thoughts or feelings that may arise it can be very helpful for any future treatments you have.
Can I have too much Reiki?
No way! Reiki energy is infinite as long as you are open to receive.
What is PEMF BioMat?
